There is a layer cake, a pyramid scheme if you will, that exists in most of America’s larger churches.  Just try to get a meeting with the head pastor and see if you can.  Ok, when that doesn’t work try setting up an appointment to speak with an assistant or elder and see what happens.  You will get an entry level person to sit you down as a method of control.  They don’t want you wasting the pastor’s valuable time, or any other important member of the church staff for that matter. The Falls Church Business in Education Partnership has announced the following partnership opportunities. M.U.S.I.C. Days.  Need some leaves raked?  How about a babysitter or a birthday party helper? Musical accompaniment for the event you’re planning?  Students from the GMHS Band and Choral program will be working in the community on Saturdays, November 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5 to raise money for the GMHS Music Department trip to Florida. These Church 2.0 Local Forums have been informal/casual, kind of unconferences where I come with no set agenda or presentation and simply listen and guide conversation. Each city has a different pulse and heart for something they’re passionate about in their region.
